It has been our great joy over the years to lift the bosoms and cover the behinds of many great as well as famous ladies; Madonna, Beth Ditto, Kate Moss, Christina Aguilera, Isabella Blow, Neneh Cherry, Nicola Roberts, Bond girl Eva Green as well as every kind of Show Girl.
We have high ideals of craftsmanship and really enjoy the process of producing what we make on a small scale – and well. Our latest line in patchwork lingerie one offs using old English cross stich embroideries and vintage fabrics is a good example of extreme hand work! Making Great British underwear since the turn of the century
All of our underwear is produced entirely in the UK from only the finest materials. We source everything we can from British companies and take great joy in finding and incorporating vintage treasures from antique Nottingham laces to quirky retro printed silks and cottons.
We take an old fashioned pride in our workmanship and every care and attention to detail is taken, every bow hand-tied and every bead hand-stitched. We place a strong emphasis on good fit and have developed our shapes over years of working closely with bespoke customers. We firmly believe in British manufacture, it is desperately important that we don’t lose the skills in making that we in Britain have been proud of for generations. We have provided internships and training for many keen learners over the years and get a great satisfaction from teaching and inspiring aspirational stitchers and makers.
There is a great deal of fulfillment and true joy to be had from developing a skill to perfection which we ignore to our great loss.

We produce almost all of our work in our studio in The Politi Turkish Delight Factory in Hackney, North East London and we still have many of the original Turkish delight tins from the building’s heyday which we can package your underwear in on special request.
